I enjoyed it, but think it was pretty self serving. If you think of it as a meander...its pretty enjoyable.

i recently saw brown bunny. it wasn't a good movie, but once you let it sink in, it really wasn't that bad.

You mean, once you've forgotted the hour and a half of tediousness before getting to the point (and the only memorable element) of the movie? I know it's supposed to be an Art Film and all that, but where the hell was the art?

I saw a preview for Brown Bunny after seeing the flick. It featured a quote like "No one in the united states will ever see a single frame of this movie, ever." How I wish that were true. It was 10X worse than an amateur 1st year film project shot by a blind narcoleptic.

        Never seen Buffalo 66 though.

        :-)

he takes christina ricci hostage to make his parents this he is married and successful. he was just released from jail.
his mom is the biggest buffalo fan and has ignored her son his entire life.
      a very dsyfunctional family.
its a very dark comedy and love story all wrapped in one.
the movie has alot of cameo's of some eccentric stars.
mickey rourke, jan michael vincent, rosanna arquette.
      i'd rent it.

Absolutely one of my favorites. This movie began my Christina Ricci obsession. Viewing "Buffalo '66" led to me also seeing "Pecker", "The Opposite of Sex," "200 Cigarettes" - the list goes on. None of them compared to "Buffalo '66" - unti l saw "Prozac Nation." Interestingly enough, I also have a Johnny Depp obsession - no wonder "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is my favorite movie.

omg!...i absolutely loved this movie. i was a bit familiar with Vincent Gallo before seeing this movie, but absolutely loved the irony and flagrant dry humor of this one. In an interview Christina Ricci said that after making the movie V.G. made a lot of negative comments about her to the press. It seems that he has been BlackListed in Hollywood. If you liked the dry humor then I recommend "The Big Lebowski" by the Coen Brothers...or any of their films for that matter. Thank-you to whomever started this tribe!!!!!
